HCSF Calls for Results-Driven FCSSIP30 in Abuja Workshop

On Thursday in Abuja, Mrs. Didi Esther Walson-Jack, OON, mni, the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, called for the development of a results-driven Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan 2026–2030 (FCSSIP30).

This initiative aims to enhance institutional performance and deliver greater value to Nigerians. The call was made during a Stakeholders’ Workshop for Directors-General and Heads of Federal Government Agencies and Parastatals, marking a critical step in the stakeholder consultation process following the End-Term Review of the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan 2021–2025 (FCSSIP25).

Walson-Jack stressed that the development of FCSSIP30 requires collaboration from various agencies to ensure it reflects implementation realities and secures institutional ownership. She urged participants to evaluate FCSSIP25's implementation, identify barriers, and propose solutions for future reforms.

Walson-Jack highlighted the importance of digital transformation in public service and called for a collective commitment to creating a more efficient and innovative Public Service.
