HCSF Calls for Efficient Public Service Delivery in Nigeria

Mr. Didi Esther Walson Jack, the Head of Civil Service of the Federation (HCSF), urged public servants across Nigeria to renew their commitment to building an efficient, incorruptible, and citizen-centered public service capable of delivering tangible results.

This message was conveyed during a goodwill address at a lecture series organized by the Bureau of Public Service Reform (BPSR) to commemorate the United Nations Public Service Day, held on Tuesday at the Nicon Luxury Hotel in Abuja. Walson Jack highlighted the importance of public service extending beyond mere employment, calling for strengthened institutions to address societal challenges and improve citizens' lives.

She commended Senator George Akum for his unwavering support for reforms within the public service and noted the central role of public service in translating government policies into visible outcomes for citizens. Walson Jack also praised Dr.

Dasuki Ibrahim Arabi, the Director General of BPSR, for providing a platform for dialogue on public service reforms, emphasizing the need for faster, transparent, and quality service delivery.
