Amaechi Critiques Tinubu Over Hardship and Insecurity

Former Minister of Transport Rotimi Amaechi criticized President Bola Tinubu during the African Democratic Congress (ADC) national convention held in Abuja on Tuesday. Amaechi claimed that Tinubu's recent economic policies have worsened the hardship faced by Nigerians, stating that the president "does not care" about the welfare of the citizens.

He described the current situation in Nigeria as "terrible," highlighting the stress that government institutions are causing against the citizens. Additionally, Amaechi raised concerns about the rising insecurity in Nigeria, likening the situation in parts of the country to the civil war era.

He criticized the handling of security challenges by Tinubu, reflecting on his tenure as governor and asserting that the federal government has done nothing to address the worsening situation.
