Wike Calls Atiku a 'Serial Loser' Ahead of 2031 Run

Nyesom Wike, the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Minister, publicly criticized former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, calling him a "serial loser" and predicting that he would run for the presidency again in 2031. Wike's comments came during an inspection tour of ongoing road projects in Abuja on Thursday.

He responded to Atiku's claims that the current administration had failed to deliver benefits to Nigerians, asserting that Atiku has a history of electoral failures. Wike challenged Atiku to compare the state of the FCT during his tenure as Vice President to its current condition.

Additionally, Wike addressed allegations from the African Democratic Congress (ADC) regarding attempts to disrupt their convention, denying any involvement. He emphasized that the delivery of infrastructure projects remains a priority for the administration, with significant progress on the Kuje-Gwagwalada road and other projects expected to be completed by January.
