APGA Denies Senator Abaribe's Expulsion Claims

The Abia State chapter of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) has refuted claims that Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe was sacked from the party, asserting that he voluntarily resigned his membership on December 30, 2025. APGA spokesperson Chukwuemeka Nwokoro issued a press statement clarifying that Abaribe's resignation letter was submitted to the chairman of Ahiaba Ward 5 in Obingwa Local Government Area.

Nwokoro described the claims of Abaribe's expulsion as unwarranted and a deliberate attempt to mislead the Senate. He accused Abaribe of secretly trying to recruit individuals who are no longer members of the party and of producing a fabricated letter to support his claims of being sacked.

Nwokoro emphasized that there is no crisis within the party and warned Abaribe to cease any actions that could embarrass APGA, stating that such behavior would face consequences.
