Fayose Predicts Wike's Failure in APC Campaign for 2027
Ayodele Fayose, the former Governor of Ekiti State, has expressed skepticism regarding Nyesom Wike's ability to secure victories for the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Abuja and Rivers State. This statement follows reports that President Bola Tinubu has appointed Wike as the coordinator of the APC campaign structure in these regions.
Despite this alleged appointment, Wike will maintain his membership in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). Fayose commented on the situation in a video on his verified Facebook page, suggesting that the APC is confused in its strategy as the 2027 general elections approach.
He emphasized that the APC's recent political maneuvers would not diminish the electoral prospects of the Obidients or the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC). Fayose confidently stated that Wike would lose in both Abuja and Rivers, asserting that his coalition is stronger in these areas than the APC.
