Henry Nwosu's Body Arrives in Owerri for Burial

The body of Henry Nwosu, a former Nigerian footballer and member of the Green Eagles, has arrived in Owerri for burial after he passed away three days ago at the age of 62 due to a brief illness. Segun Odegbami, a former teammate and notable figure in Nigerian football, disclosed the movement of Nwosu's body via a social media WhatsApp group.

This marks the first step in the preparations for his burial. Odegbami announced that the family will convene with family members and stakeholders soon to determine how to honor Nwosu with a burial that reflects his legendary status in Nigerian football.

Nwosu is survived by his wife, four children, and three sisters.
