FUOYE Celebrates Five-Year Reform Surge with Largest Graduating Class

The Federal University Oye Ekiti (FUOYE) under the leadership of outgoing Vice Chancellor Prof. Abayomi Fasina showcased remarkable achievements in a five-year reform cycle from 2021 to 2026.

The institution witnessed rapid growth in enrollment, revenue generation, research activities, and infrastructure development. The 10th convocation ceremony marked the graduation of 7,684 students, with the largest cohort in the university's history.

The event recognized Maryam Adeniyi as the best graduate student with a CGPA of 4.89. Prof.

Fasina highlighted the university's transition towards a more postgraduate and professional training-focused institution, particularly in the field of medicine and life sciences. The ceremony also emphasized the strategic investment in the newly established College of Medicine.

Additionally, Prof. Fasina unveiled a 20-point agenda aimed at enhancing various aspects of the university, including revenue generation, enrollment expansion, entrepreneurship development, and research systems.
