50-Year-Old Woman Gives Birth to Quadruplets After Scans

Olushola Olonod, a 50-year-old woman, recounted her experience of giving birth to quadruplets during a thanksgiving service at the Redeemed Christian Church of God Solid Rock Parish in Ojodu Berger, Lagos. Olonod, who was married on December 12, 2023, faced a long wait for children and decided to conceive soon after her wedding.

She underwent multiple scans, with the first indicating twins, the second suggesting three, and subsequent visits leading to confusion about the actual number of babies. Despite experiencing bleeding and fear of losing her babies, she ultimately gave birth to two boys and two girls on March 6, 2026.

Olonod celebrated her 50th birthday on March 31, 2026, and expressed gratitude for her life and the safe delivery of her children. Her testimony was shared on the parish's YouTube channel, highlighting the joy and surprise of her family regarding the quadruplets.
