Nigerians Can Earn US Degrees Online, Says Florida Coastal U.

Dr. Alex Parnia, President and Chief Executive Officer of Florida Coastal University, stated that the institution aims to provide Nigerians with the opportunity to earn a US degree online without relocating. In an interview with Pulse Nigeria, he explained that the university is designed for working adults, allowing them to study from anywhere while managing their careers and family responsibilities.

Dr. Parnia, who has over 40 years of experience in higher education, believes that education should extend beyond technical skills to transform critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. He emphasized the need for universities to focus on developing critical-thinking skills, good judgment, evidence-based decision-making, and the ability to discern useful information from misinformation, especially in an AI-driven world.
