Toyosi Adesanya Honors Taiwo Hassan's Legacy at Burial

Nollywood actress Toyosi Adesanya honored the late veteran actor Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, during his burial in Ilaro, Ogun State. Adesanya described Ogogo as a mentor who played a crucial role in her acting career, having trained her since 1994 under the Odunfa Caucus, led by Yinka Quadri.

She underwent ten years of rigorous training, participating in rehearsals multiple times a week. Adesanya recalled how Ogogo supported her during the production of her first movie in 2002, standing by her alongside Yinka Quadri.

She emphasized Ogogo's influence in the Yoruba film industry, stating he created opportunities for many actors and treated trainees with care. Adesanya expressed her sadness over his illness and death, noting her communication with his daughters during his final days.

She fondly remembered Ogogo's popularity and the affection he garnered from the community, concluding her tribute with prayers for his eternal rest.
