Madumere Felix Nwachikerendu, a graduate of Alex Ekwueme Federal University in Ndufu-Alike, Ebonyi State, became the subject of online mockery on August 31, 2026, after a post featuring his appearance during his final-year project defense went viral. Initially ridiculed for his clothing and delayed graduation, the narrative shifted when Mercy Ninian, an acquaintance, shared Felix's challenging academic journey.

She revealed that he faced severe financial difficulties while studying History, which forced him to undertake menial jobs such as fetching water, washing clothes, and hawking peanuts to survive. Despite being withdrawn from the university due to academic struggles, Felix persevered, rewrote the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board examination, and returned to complete his studies.

His story garnered significant attention, leading to a support fund of N14 million, with contributions from various individuals, including popular X user Wisdom Obi-Dickson.
