Accord Party's Imumolen Endorses Tinubu for 2027 Election

Professor Christopher Imumolen, the factional presidential candidate and National Chairman of the Accord Party, announced his withdrawal from the 2027 presidential race during a news conference in Lagos on Friday. Imumolen stated that Nigerians are beginning to recognize the long-term benefits of Tinubu's administration despite current economic and security challenges. He argued that Tinubu's people-oriented programs and policy direction enhance his chances for re-election, asserting that continuity in governance is crucial for sustaining reforms and attracting investment.

The Accord Party's endorsement of Tinubu was based on a review of his administration's performance and alignment with their manifesto, particularly in economic transformation and youth empowerment. Imumolen listed ten reasons for the endorsement, including Tinubu's courage in implementing economic reforms and his commitment to political stability and transparency.
