Tinubu's ₦1 Trillion Investment in Nigeria's Education

The Minister of Education, Dr. Maruf Tunji Alausa, announced that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's administration is significantly expanding access to higher education in Nigeria by investing over ₦1 trillion in the last two years.

This investment focuses on removing financial barriers that hinder qualified Nigerians from pursuing higher education. The administration's reforms aim to ensure that every qualified Nigerian, regardless of economic background, can access quality education.

Dr. Alausa highlighted that the Federal Government has allocated ₦250 billion for constructing new student hostels and over ₦150 billion for rehabilitating existing academic facilities.

Additionally, more than ₦130 billion has been invested in enhancing medical education by rehabilitating medical schools and expanding their training capacity. Dr.

Alausa praised President Tinubu for his commitment to investing in Nigeria's youth and improving educational opportunities, stating that education is no longer a barrier for students in the country.
