Tinubu Promotes Education and Infrastructure Reforms

On Saturday, President Bola Tinubu, represented by his Special Assistant on Political Matters, Alhaji Ibrahim Masari, addressed the third General Hassan Usman Katsina Memorial Conference at Arewa House in Kaduna. He reaffirmed his administration's dedication to improving security, education, infrastructure, and economic development in Nigeria.

Tinubu expressed optimism regarding the security situation in Northern Nigeria, stating that ongoing efforts would soon alleviate current challenges. He highlighted the expansion of access to higher education through the Nigerian Education Loan Fund (NELFUND), benefiting over one million students.

The administration has also restored stability to tertiary institutions by removing them from the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS) and reversing revenue deductions. Tinubu noted significant investments in educational infrastructure and the establishment of new federal universities and polytechnics.

Additionally, he discussed ongoing infrastructure projects, including the Abuja-Kaduna-Zaria-Kano Expressway and various power supply initiatives in Northern Nigeria.
