Suspects Reveal Details in Adelabu Sister's Kidnap Case

Suspects involved in the kidnapping of Olaid Busayo Adegok, sister of former Minister of Power Adebayo Adelabu, provided disturbing details about their operation in Ibadan, Oyo State. The police apprehended several gang members after a coordinated rescue operation led to the victim's release in Lako Community along Ayegun Olomi Road.

The suspects, including Segun Balogun, who served as a driver during the kidnapping, admitted to planning the abduction since early May. They conducted surveillance on the victim's daily routines and movements, exploiting security gaps.

The gang, led by Adewal Abolarinwa, also known as Oloro, used firearms, including a pump-action gun, to intimidate the victim. The police confirmed that digital evidence, including messages related to the crime, was recovered, linking the suspects to the kidnapping network.

Further investigations revealed Oloro's previous involvement in other kidnapping cases. The police continue to interrogate the suspects and identify additional gang members.
