Fatal Auto Crash Claims Husband's Life, Leaves Wife Critically Injured in Lagos

In Lagos, a fatal auto accident occurred on a Thursday morning at Ekeko Junction along Lekki-Ajah Expressway. The accident involved a truck carrying granite that lost control due to brake failure, colliding with a Toyota saloon car.

The husband in the Toyota was pronounced dead at the scene, while his wife, who was in the front passenger seat, sustained life-threatening injuries. Emergency responders from LASTMA and FRSC worked to extricate the victims from the wreckage.

The truck toppled over, crushing the Toyota beneath its weight. The deceased husband and critically injured wife were attended to by medical personnel before the husband was pronounced dead and the wife was evacuated to receive urgent medical care.
