APC Stakeholders Endorse Governor Idris for 2027 Re-election

Major stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kebbi State have expressed "absolute confidence" in the re-election of Governor Nasir Idris in 2027, citing his unprecedented performance in office over the last two years. This endorsement was made by Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Yelwa, the Managing Director of the Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (HYPADEC), during a meeting in Abuja with the Kebbi State Governor’s Media Team.

Yelwa emphasized the recognition of Governor Idris's "uncommon impactful" leadership, which has significantly improved the socio-economic conditions of communities in Kebbi. He noted that various groups, including traditional leaders, women and youth organizations, and labor unions, have shown appreciation for the governor's policies.

Specific achievements mentioned include regular scholarship payments, construction of educational institutions, and provision of free farming inputs. Yelwa also highlighted the collaboration between HYPADEC and the Kebbi State Government in providing potable water and transportation for riverine communities.
