Umahi Allegedly Admits Ordering Land Takeover Amid APC Development Plans

Governor Umahi of Ebonyi State reportedly admitted to ordering the acquisition of a woman's land after she resisted the government's takeover. He made these remarks during an APC event where he emphasized the party's commitment to sustainable development in the Southeast.

Umahi, who is also the APC Chairman in Ohaozara LGA, urged youth stakeholders to register with the party for future political engagements. He commended President Bola Tinubu's administration for addressing historical grievances in the region.

Umahi highlighted the need for the Southeast to focus on tangible achievements and participation in national politics rather than resorting to protests. He emphasized the importance of patience and unity within the APC to advance the region's interests.

Umahi also mentioned correcting historical imbalances to potentially produce a credible presidential candidate from the Southeast in the future.
