Kate Henshaw Reflects on Friendship with Genevieve Nnaji

Kate Henshaw, a veteran Nollywood actress, opened up about her drifting friendship with fellow actress Genevieve Nnaji during an appearance on the Tea Tai podcast. Henshaw expressed that she does not fully understand the reasons behind their gradual loss of contact, emphasizing that it was not due to a single incident, fight, or public fallout but rather a slow and unexplainable withdrawal.

Despite the years of distance, Henshaw noted that when they reunited for a Netflix commercial in South Africa, their interaction was warm and pleasant. She reflected on Nnaji's tendency to withdraw and compared her preference for solitude to that of Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie.

Henshaw acknowledged the evolution of their relationship over three decades in the industry and suggested that she has made peace with the situation, even if she feels some mistrust about what transpired.
