Wike Criticizes Moro Over Night Negotiations in PDP

During the 106th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) held in Abuja, Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, publicly criticized Abba Moro, the Senate Minority Leader. Wike expressed his discontent with individuals who engage in negotiations at night, suggesting a lack of transparency.

He warned against clandestine maneuvers within the party and asserted that the faction led by Abdulrahman Moha remains firmly in control of the party's machinery. Wike emphasized that the current caretaker leadership structure should remain intact and dismissed suggestions for forming a new caretaker committee to appease aggrieved members.

He also noted that logistical arrangements for the upcoming national convention have already been finalized, reinforcing his commitment to open reconciliation within the party while rejecting accusations of being a mole for the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration.
