Bala Mohammed Affirms Commitment to PDP Amid Speculation

Bala Mohammed, the Governor of Bauchi State, has publicly declared that he has no intention of leaving the People's Democratic Party (PDP). This statement was made during a Ramadan Iftar event held at the government house, where he addressed stakeholders from ten local government areas.

Governor Mohammed emphasized that there is no reason for him to abandon the PDP, asserting that he will remain committed to the party for the sake of Nigeria's democracy, which requires a formidable opposition. He referred to himself as a "Kaura warrior," indicating his resolve to not flee from political challenges.

Additionally, he responded to claims regarding his membership status within the PDP, clarifying that he remains a loyal member despite recent actions by the Bauchi State PDP caretaker committee. He highlighted the importance of his continued support for the party's administration until the end of his tenure.
