Wike Calls for Unity Among Aggrieved PDP Members

On Monday, during the 108th National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) held at Wadata Plaza in Abuja, Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory and a prominent leader within the party, called on aggrieved members to return to the PDP. He assured them that there is room for reconciliation and emphasized the need for unity to strengthen the party ahead of future elections.

Wike warned that unresolved internal disputes could weaken the party's prospects. He reaffirmed his loyalty to the PDP, stating that he has been a member since 1998 and will continue to support the party regardless of circumstances.

Abdulrahman Moha, the national chairman of the PDP, noted that the party is entering a new phase, leaving uncertainty behind and preparing for strategic consultations with the electorate. Mao Ohuabunwa, chairman of the board of trustees, also called for unity among members and highlighted the importance of adhering to the party's constitution.
