ICAN Ibadan to Investiture 26th Chairman on July 11

The ICAN Ibadan District Society is set to hold the investiture ceremony for its 26th chairman, Mr. Salom Olabimp Ajayi, FCA, on Saturday, July 11.

The event will take place at Jogor Centre, Liberty Road, Ibadan, starting at 11:00 AM. This ceremony coincides with the 60th anniversary of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN), which was established in 1965.

During the event, Mr. Ajayi will formally assume leadership of the district society.

The ceremony is expected to host members of the accounting profession, business leaders, government officials, and industry captains. Hajia Queensley Sofuratu Seghosim, FCA, the 62nd president of ICAN, along with ICAN board members, will also be in attendance.

The newly inaugurated executive team will guide the district's affairs for the 2026-2027 service year, providing an opportunity for stakeholders to reflect on the role of the accounting profession in promoting transparency and excellence.
