Babalola Celebrated as Rotary International President

Olayinka Hakeem Babalola was celebrated for his election as the Rotary International President for the 2026-2027 Rotary year during a reception organized by the Jericho Businessmen Club (JBC) in Ibadan. Oba Rasidi Ladoja, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, represented the event and praised Babalola as a good ambassador for the ancient city.

Chief Ajeniyi Ajewol, the President General of the Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes (CCII), expressed confidence in Babalola's ability to achieve remarkable success during his tenure. Mr.

Tunji Gafaar, President of JBC, welcomed Babalola's emergence, noting it brought global recognition to Ibadanland and Nigeria. Babalola, who is the second African and second Nigerian to hold this position, expressed gratitude for the honor and emphasized his commitment to delivering on the responsibilities entrusted to him.
