Yobe Governor Buni Declares Loyalty to Benefactor Gaidam

On Tuesday, during a speech at the All Progressives Congress (APC) event in Damaturu, Yobe State, Governor Mai Mala Buni expressed his unwavering loyalty to his political benefactor, Ibrahim Gaidam. Buni stated he would rather forfeit his life than betray Gaidam, highlighting the significant role Gaidam played in his political journey.

He emphasized that his political career is built on trust and insisted that betrayal is not part of his record. Buni urged newly elected party officials to remain steadfast and uphold trust and integrity in their responsibilities.

He outlined the achievements of his administration over the past seven years, particularly in education, primary healthcare, and commercial empowerment, assuring residents that these sectors would continue to receive priority attention. Buni also called on APC members to seek divine guidance as the party prepares for the next governorship candidacy and urged them to support candidates capable of sustaining the good work of his administration.
