Segun Sowunmi Clarifies Stance on APC Defection Amidst PDP Presidential Ticket Zoning

Segun Sowunmi, during a Channels Television appearance, clarified that if he intended to defect to the APC, he would have done so already. Sowunmi mentioned that Peter Obi was advised to return to the PDP but refused.

Sowunmi highlighted that the PDP has zoned the presidential ticket to the South and accused Obi of wanting the ticket without participating in the primaries. This comes amidst political maneuvering within Nigerian parties ahead of the upcoming elections.
