Pete Edochie Challenges Nollywood Actors' Status

Pete Edochie, a veteran Nollywood actor, has publicly declared himself greater than all his colleagues in the industry, challenging anyone who believes they are at the same level to come forward and say so. This statement follows remarks made by fellow actor Yemi Solade, who claimed to have started acting before Edochie, despite being younger.

During an appearance on comedian Isbae U's online show, "Curiosity Made Me Ask," Edochie stated he could not choose a favorite actor because he considers himself bigger than all of them. He also addressed claims from others in the industry who assert they are older than him, stating he has never felt the need to respond.

Edochie expressed uncertainty about the term "legend," which is often used to describe him, but he appreciates the recognition. He noted that he was already established in his career before entering acting and mentioned that he eventually retired as a Director of Programmes.
