Amemuso Choir Member Dies After Snake Bite: Director Shares Details

Ifunanya Nwangene, a rising star and member of the Amemuso Choir opera group, died after being bitten by a snake. Sam Ezugwu, the director of Metropolitan Music Society, recounted the events leading to her death.

Ifunanya was rushed to the hospital where efforts were made to save her, including administering antivenom and neostigmine. Despite these efforts, she tragically passed away.

The incident involved a snake bite, subsequent hospitalization, and ultimately, her untimely death. The singer's father reportedly instructed that her body be taken for burial after she was declared deceased.

The snake handler later found three snakes, including a cobra, in her room. The community and fans have reacted with shock and sadness to the news of her passing.
