Igboho Urges Ambassadors to Boost Nigeria's Global Image

Sunday Igboho, a prominent Yoruba nation activist, has called on Nigeria's newly appointed ambassadors to work closely with President Bola Tinubu to improve the country's global image. In a statement made available to journalists on Saturday, Igboho emphasized the importance of utilizing the ambassadors' experience and expertise to achieve success in their diplomatic roles.

He commended President Tinubu for appointing 65 ambassadors to various countries, including former ministers and retired military personnel, and encouraged Nigerians of all backgrounds to project a positive image of the country despite socio-economic challenges. Igboho particularly welcomed the appointment of Femi Fani-Kayode as an ambassador to Germany, expressing gratitude to Tinubu for recognizing the contributions of Yoruba indigenes in diplomatic missions.

He also thanked Olugbon Oril-Igbon, Oba Olushola Alao, and Oluwol Afolabi for their roles in Fani-Kayode's appointment.
