IGP Disu Deploys DIG Nadada to Kaduna After Attack

In response to the recent attack on Ariko Village in Kaduna State, the Inspector General of Police, IGP Disu, has ordered the deployment of Deputy Inspector General of Police, DIG Nadada, to coordinate security efforts. This decision follows a statement from the Force Public Relations Office detailing Nadada's mission to restore order and collaborate with the Nigerian Army and the Department of State Services (DSS) to secure the release of victims abducted during the attack.

The assault, which occurred on Easter Sunday, targeted two Christian worship centers, resulting in the deaths of at least seven individuals and the abduction of several others. The attack has caused panic within the community, highlighting ongoing security challenges in the region, particularly in Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
