Ijesa Digital Hub Empowers 350 Youths with Tech Skills

The Ijesa Digital Hub (IDH), part of the Ijesaland Global Alliance for Development (IGAD), has empowered over 350 young individuals with digital skills over the past two years. Recently, at the inaugural Ijesa tech conference in Iloko-Ijesa, Osun State, the hub unveiled ₦5 million in technology training scholarships, funded through a partnership with the Ijesa Development Council (IDC) IVETP Programme.
At the conference, 46 trainees graduated in fields such as Software Development, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, UI/UX Design, and Artificial Intelligence. Prince Abimbola Olashore, Chairman of IGAD, emphasized the importance of investing in human capital for sustainable development.
