IEPAC Endorses Saliu Mustapha for Kwara Governorship

The Ilorin Emirate Political Advisory Council (IEPAC) has publicly endorsed Senator Saliu Mustapha as its preferred candidate for the 2027 governorship election in Kwara State. This endorsement was announced during a press conference held in Ilorin, Kwara State, where Dr.

Yakub Yahaya Oloriegbe, the national coordinator, spoke on behalf of the council. The council also reaffirmed its support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu's re-election bid, describing him as deserving of a second term due to the benefits his administration has brought to Kwara Central.

The decision to endorse Mustapha followed extensive consultations and assessments of aspirants seeking political office ahead of the next electoral cycle. IEPAC expressed confidence in Mustapha's leadership capabilities, stating he possesses the necessary credentials and statewide appeal to secure victory in the governorship race.

The council aims to protect and advance the interests of the Kwara Central Senatorial District within the state's political structure.
