Raheem Okoya, the 22-year-old Executive Director of Eleganza Industries and son of billionaire industrialist Rasaq Okoya, has stated that he is focused on building his music career independently rather than relying on his father's wealth. In an interview with BBC Yoruba, he expressed his intention to earn a salary and attract investors, countering the notion that his lifestyle is solely a result of his father's fortune.

Raheem highlighted the importance of hard work, a value instilled in him by his self-made father, who founded Eleganza. He clarified that his position in the industry is not a sudden result but rather the culmination of nearly ten years of preparation.

Raheem acknowledged the challenges of overcoming perceptions and the heavy responsibility of being in the public eye. He cited his admiration for his father as a mentor and hero, expressing a desire to earn respect and approval.
