Dickson Affirms NDC's Focus on 2027 Election Strategy

Senator Seriake Dickson, the National Leader of the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), announced that the party has resolved its internal issues by selecting its candidates and is now concentrating on winning the 2027 election. During an interview on Arise Television’s Prime Time, Dickson discussed the relationship between the NDC and the support bases of its presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and his running mate, Rabiu Kwankwaso.

He asserted that he does not belong to either the Obidient movement or the Kwankwasiyya political support group, emphasizing his allegiance to the NDC. Dickson noted that while the Obidient and Kwankwasiyya groups have their own identities, their leaders are the NDC’s candidates for the upcoming presidential election.

He urged all supporters and members of these groups to focus on campaigning rather than internal disputes, stating, “There are no internal battles to fight in the NDC.” Dickson highlighted the importance of unity in the party's strategy to win the next elections.
