NDC Candidates Praise Dickson's Leadership Ahead of 2027

Candidates of the NDC, whose names were recently published by INEC, commended Senator Seriake Dickson for his leadership during the party’s candidate nomination process. They noted his significant role in resolving disputes from the primaries and harmonizing candidates, which helped restore confidence among party members after delays in publishing candidates' names.

Nwaogu, the NDC candidate for Abia Central Senatorial District, praised Dickson's discipline and political maturity during this challenging period. She urged aspirants without tickets to support the party's candidates for the 2027 elections, framing the primaries as a democratic exercise.

Several candidates dismissed allegations of ticket sales, with a Canada-based aspirant stating that Dickson did not interfere with state-level processes but focused on reconciliation. An aspirant from Edo State also denied claims of financial inducement, asserting that discussions with Dickson centered on party unity.

The aspirants called for collective support for the NDC’s presidential candidate and emphasized the importance of unity within the party.
