Amadi Advocates Idea-Driven Campaigns for Imo East

Mazi Chima Matthew Amadi, the Senatorial candidate of the Action Peoples Party (APP) for Imo East Senatorial District (Owerri Zone), announced the party's readiness to commence open campaigns during a press conference at St. Kevin’s Catholic Church in Ogbaku, Mbaitoli local government area of Imo State. Amadi stressed that the Senate contest should focus on ideas, character, competence, and the ability to provide meaningful representation.

He outlined the APP's commitment to addressing local issues such as poor roads, insecurity, unemployment, and inadequate healthcare. Amadi asserted that the campaign would engage with communities across Owerri Zone, emphasizing that their concerns would shape his priorities in the Senate.

He called on fellow contestants to engage in constructive debates on critical issues and affirmed his commitment to peaceful campaigning while ensuring the integrity of the electoral process. Amadi also announced plans to deploy vigilant agents to monitor polling units and collation centers to safeguard the electoral process.
