Imo State Government Begins Recertification of Landed Properties Across State Layouts

The Imo State government has announced the commencement of a recertification exercise for all landed properties within government layouts across the state. Led by Declan Emelumba and in compliance with Governor Hope Uzodinma's directive, the exercise will involve surveying land properties in Owerri starting on December 8, 2025.

Accredited land surveyors will collect necessary data to issue new certificates to eligible plot owners and allottees. The government aims for a successful and beneficial exercise for property owners in the state.
