Imo Transport Unions Rally Support for Governor Uzodimma

On Friday, the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), the Imo State Tricycle Owners Association (ISTOA), and the Imo Motorcyclists Association (IMA) organized a solidarity rally in Imo State to show support for Governor Hope Uzodimma. The rally was led by Hon.

Ambassador Ikenga Jeff Ez, the chairman of NURTW Imo State Council, who expressed heartfelt gratitude for the governor's administration. The statement highlighted the significant achievements in infrastructure development and the transport sector under Uzodimma's leadership.

Hon. Jeff Ez noted that the administration has completed 123 roads, enhancing connectivity and reducing transport costs.

The rally also emphasized the need for a modern motor park and requested a revolving loan grant to empower members and reduce office rental costs. The Minister of Transport, Hon.

Emeka Okonkwo, was acknowledged for his supervisory role in the administration's policies that have aimed to create a less chaotic transport sector.
