Kano Governor Yusuf Demands Cabinet Improvement or Resignation

On the occasion of the Hawan Nasarawa Sallah homage, Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf issued a stern warning to members of his cabinet, urging them to either improve their performance or be prepared to vacate their offices. This statement was made public through a release by his spokesperson, Sunusi Batur Dawakin Tofa.

Governor Yusuf stressed the importance of accountability and the need for political appointees to earn the trust of the people by delivering results. He highlighted that his administration would not tolerate negligence, poor performance, or disloyalty among political appointees.

Despite the warning, he praised the efforts of Dahir Hashim, the youngest member of the state executive council, for demonstrating hard work and innovation. Yusuf reaffirmed his administration's commitment to creating a conducive environment for governance and improving public administration.
