Tinubu Congratulates Adeleke on Osun Re-election Victory

On Sunday morning, President Bola Tinubu called Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State to congratulate him on his re-election for a second four-year term following the recent gubernatorial poll. In a statement released by his Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, Tinubu described Adeleke’s victory as a confirmation of the confidence the people of Osun State have in him.

He urged Adeleke to unite the citizens and promote growth, stability, and social and economic progress, irrespective of their political affiliations during the election. Tinubu also commended the courage and discipline of other candidates, noting their participation enriched Nigeria's democratic culture.

He stated that the election outcome reflects the will of the people and assures the continued flourishing of democracy in Nigeria. Additionally, he praised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and security agencies for conducting a peaceful and transparent election that resulted in a clear winner.
