Secondus Congratulates Adeleke on Osun Re-election Victory

Prince Uche Secondus, the former National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, congratulated Ademola Adeleke on his re-election as the Executive Governor of Osun State. In a message following the Independent National Electoral Commission's declaration of Adeleke as the winner of the August 15 governorship election, Secondus described the victory as a reflection of the electorate's trust in Adeleke's leadership.

Adeleke, who ran on the platform of the Accord Party, secured 511,067 votes, defeating Bola Oyebamiji of the All Progressives Congress, who garnered 444,815 votes. Adeleke won in 19 out of 30 local government areas in Osun State.

Secondus urged Adeleke to focus on sustainable development and economic revival during his second term, emphasizing the importance of delivering governance benefits to all residents. He expressed confidence in Adeleke's vision for growth and unity in the state.
