Air Marshal Anek Launches NAF Institute in Yenagoa

On a significant operational visit to Bayelsa State, Air Marshal Sundai Kelvin Anek, the Chief of Air Staff, inaugurated the Nigerian Air Force Institute of Administrative Management (NAFIAM) in Yenagoa. This institute is designed to strengthen administrative management capabilities within the Nigerian Air Force.

During the visit, Anek also commissioned the official residence of the Air Officer Commanding the Mobil Command and performed a groundbreaking ceremony for additional infrastructure projects at the base. He toured the Mobil Command headquarters to assess ongoing developments aimed at enhancing operational capacity.

A statement from the Director of Public Relations and Information of the Nigerian Air Force, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodam, highlighted that the institute will provide specialized training in administrative management and public relations. Anek emphasized the importance of civil-military cooperation, particularly in safeguarding the Niger Delta region, and acknowledged the strategic significance of Bayelsa State in Nigeria's security and economic framework.

Governor Douye Diri commended the Nigerian Air Force for its role in maintaining stability and protecting vital oil and gas infrastructure.
