Danjuma Shekwolo Wins Kuje Area Council Election

The Kuje Area Council Chairmanship Election concluded with Danjuma Shekwolo of the People's Democratic Party declared the winner, securing 17,269 votes. His nearest competitor, Zakwoyi Danlami, also from the People's Democratic Party, garnered 15,824 votes.

Abdullahi Galadima of the Progress Grand Alliance received 4,305 votes. The election results were confirmed by Nkiruka Odoh from the University of Abuja, who stated that Shekwolo met all legal requirements to be elected as chairman.

In related results from the Federal Capital Territory Area Council elections, various candidates from the All Progressives Congress (APC) won in other areas, including Bwari, where Joshua Ishaku received 18,466 votes, and Abaji, where Umar Abdullahi Abubakar won with 15,536 votes. President Bola Tinubu urged the winners to serve with humility and dedication, reflecting the trust placed in them by the electorate.
