INEC Begins Second Phase of Nationwide Voters Registration

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has initiated the second phase of the nationwide voters registration exercise in Nigeria, after the first phase concluded on December 10, 2025. The first phase involved both online pre-registration and physical enrollment, with a total of 2,572,054 individuals completing the registration process by November 28, 2025.

The second phase is set to continue the voter registration process across the country, including in Anambra State and the Federal Capital Territory, with specific dates and locations to be disclosed later.
