INEC Extends PVC Collection in Anambra Ahead of Governorship Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has extended the collection of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs) in Anambra State ahead of the governorship election scheduled for November 8. The extension was announced following appeals from citizens and stakeholders.

INEC confirmed that the PVC collection exercise, initially set to end on October 26, will now run until November 2. High-level delegations from INEC headquarters in Abuja, led by officials like Sam Olumekun, Dr.

Kenneth Ukeagu, and Dr. Baba Bila, are inspecting facilities, logistics, and security arrangements in Anambra to ensure preparedness for the upcoming poll.
