The crisis within the SDP's National Working Committee (NWC) involving Gabam, Nze Nnadi Clarkson, and Uchechukwu Chukwuma has been resolved with Dr.

Abubakar Gombe assuming leadership of the party. The NWC, led by Gombe, has dissociated from a political summit organized by Gabam, claiming it to be illegal.
