CDS General Olufemi Oluyede Visits Zamfara for Operations

On a significant operational visit to Zamfara State, General Olufemi Oluyede, the Chief of Defence Staff, arrived at the headquarters of the North West Joint Task Force in Gusau. This marks his first operational visit to the theatre command.

Upon arrival, he was received by Major General Warrah Idri and senior officers of the operation. General Oluyede inspected the quarter guard and proceeded to a closed-door operational briefing.

He is expected to address the troops later and hold a meeting with Zamfara State Governor Dauda Lawal during his visit. This visit underscores the ongoing efforts to address insecurity in the region and the military's commitment to operational readiness.
