Bandits Attack Commuters in Zamfara, Several Killed

On a Sunday, armed bandits ambushed vehicles traveling along the Gusau-Magami highway in Zamfara, leading to multiple fatalities and injuries among the commuters. The incident was confirmed by Hon. Shehu Musa, the councillor representing Magami ward, who stated that the victims were en route to Gusau when the attack occurred.

He expressed condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and those who were wounded in the attack. However, the exact number of casualties was not disclosed.

Following the incident, residents of the area urged the government and security agencies to intensify efforts to curb the recurring bandit attacks that have been affecting the region.
