Terrorists Kidnap Plateau Youths in Kogi, Demand N30m Ransom

Three young men identified as Kweti Jonathan, Menj Habila, and Sundai Samuel were kidnapped by terrorists in Kogi State while traveling back to Plateau State from Akure, Ondo State, on Monday. The incident occurred when the assailants intercepted their vehicle.

Following the abduction, the kidnappers contacted the families of the victims, demanding a ransom of N10 million per person and warning that failure to comply within a stipulated time would result in the victims being killed. The Jenta Adamu Central Youth Council shared this information on their Facebook page, expressing concern over the situation and calling for urgent intervention from security agencies to ensure the safe release of the victims.

The council also urged the public to provide any information that could assist in the ongoing rescue efforts. As of the report, there had been no official response from security agencies regarding the incident.
